IPG Imports/Pro-Sales Direct/Jesse Young

Be aware!!!

How does that work?

First is a very vague, lasting the most 10 minutes interview, after which you will still know nothing. In the afternoon you will receive the call - you have an observation day! You can see how the working day looks like.

You will watch a guy (a trainee manager) who carries a bag full of bad stock from door to door. At lunchtime he or she explains more to you. She/he tells you how much you will earn and how fast you can get promoted to the next level.

Remember all the figures are based on commission. You do not earn any basic at any point of time paid by IPG or Pro-Sales. If they say you do they lie, if you don't believe me ask them for an employment letter with salary figures on it (remember only the owner of the business can sign it). Your trainer paid for the lunch you just eat and to be honest he/or she is way too broke to be able to afford that. After a long day you are back in the office and they trying to fear of loss you and sell you an opportunity.

You will be forced to sign Independent Dealer Agreement in which I think point 11 states you are self- employed. If you ask about that they will lie and say the reason for it is they have to protect the clients if something happens in the field. But you are self-employed and if something happens to you during working hours or even after working hours you are not covered. You are basically legally stitched up. They have nothing to do with you. So you have all responsibilities but no benefits. The 25 you get paid during the first 3 days comes from trainee pocket.

They will tell you all about getting promoted to assistant manager level remember is still no basic there and you are not an employee. The same: if you don't believe me ask for a paper stating that.

After getting promoted to MD level business is not given to you you are getting a business loan. The office belonged possibly to someone else or Pro-Sales lent you money. So really what is the point being in the field if in the end you still end up with the loan and you work 17hours a day, by the way that never changes. You could do that by going to the bank to start of with or work for a normal company where you can safe for it. If you do well it is maybe difficult to leave, however remember they are only loyal if you are doing well. Like you know any business has high and lows They are teaching that too However in the lows you are left on your own.

When you became an owner you are forced to sign a number of documents like for example: you do not have an ownership of your business account so how can you be a business owner if you can not take the money out of the business??? That really does not make any senseOn top of it you still forced to sign more things like for example personal responsibility So what for did you just open a limited company

By the way if you want be a director of limited company go to the company house and incorporate one for 100 quit. That's the cost. You are charged for everything accounts, Pro-Sales accounts, and payroll. Because at this point you are becoming a company employee but not Pro-Sales one but the company you just incorporated, legally they are only the merchandise provider. You pay for the Rallies, Conferences and holidays you are still working 17 hours a day.

When you start promoting people you are entitle to 3% of their sales (the amount comes from what they have paid for merchandise to Pro-Sales not a total sales), however you are taking full risk for them being not profitable. Clearly if your organisation gets bigger you have more risk to deal with.

Your expenses are quite high because you need to act like you earn a lot of money. Personally I don't think Jesse has a lot of savings considering how country is doing. And what expenses he has expensive apartment, girlfriend and now a son to support. Expensive cars plus lifestyle and the vices that are quite cost consuming Do you think Larry or Blair (he is only loyal to the money and end of the day he is only an employee) would let him walk out just like that I don't think so.

Anyway I would not say anything if all those things have been explain to you to start of with. You should know you are self-employed, you should know you don't get anything for free.

It is illegal to make you sign the papers by lying about them. It is illegal to give you misleading information. The only thing we can do it is make people aware what they do by joining them. If they can not recruit they have to shut down. It will be beneficial as well if press could get involved. Because I do not think by legally stitching people up they make themselves legal.

If you are a happy owner be careful!! If you are a guy in the field who is flying think twice and if you are a VP try to safe up (if that is possible and you are not in too much debt already) and walk out.
