BA Customer Service Are B/W in One World of Colo
This week Snow blizzards in France. The worst in decades. Flight cancelations, train cancelations and chaos for travelers. I traveled peacefully trying British Airways over Air France flying Abu Dhabi to Paris, arriving at 6 am, a meeting in the city then changing planes in Heathrow London before departing to Paris. Well upon arriving at a WiFi location in London to check my mail, I read BA canceled the flight to Paris. Due to a meeting at 7pm in Paris I had to go by Eurostar. That was pretty smooth actually and got to my meeting on time. To get back to London another thing. Blizzard weather closed all flights, Eurostar trains cancelled 2 days following - stuck in Paris. I still have the connecting flight LHR to Paris to fly on - as well as my luggage there. I tried to change the flight to a later date as to not waste the flight, but discover Avios tickets are non-refundable! I found out I can only change it before 24 hours of flight time! Which means yesterday! (when I tried at Gare de Nord to get a train, as well as getting luggage sorted. 20 hours before the flight Simon Shaw -BA CustServ Supervisor refused to help. Cold as ice. Black and White argued with me. Insensitive.
