I was given an appointment for having blood taken on Wednesday 12th. I gave my name in and was delighted to see I was the only one waiting. There is usually a packed session. However, the receptionist came out and told me my appointment was booked in for 13th. I explained that when I made the appt I explained I couldn't do 13th and was told the 12th which I agreed. I was still the only person there. Another gentleman came in and he went in. I asked could I still have my bloods done and was told no. There was still only one person waiting. I find it incomprehensible that the staff could have used their discretion and in the time wasted discussing the date of my appointment, my blood could have been done and I could have left before anyone else came in. I work and it's difficult getting time off as I have been having regular blood checks for various conditions. I really can't understand why this happened and quite honestly I don't believe there is any excuse whatsoever that would convince me it was warranted.
