The website and brochure of Pontins is completely misrepresenting its product. Both pictures and text are misleading, the reality is the poorest accommodation i have ever seen and a whole lot of broken promises. After paying extra for the top standard of accommodation of three, i was appalled to find a tiny, mouldy box with no signs of any of the extras paid for. If that was club class then budget must have been unfit for pigs. Not only was the accommodation unacceptable but the facilities and alleged 70 free activities are a farce. They have never been modernised over the years, most unsuitable with ridiculous restrictions or costing a fortune on top of the already overpriced fee. Whilst insisting for our money back, many many others also came to complain and after being palmed off by many members of staff, i finally got face to face with the park manager. We would not listen to their bluffs about being unable to refund money etc., but many wouldn't have been so sure on their rights. Many are beaten down into staying in a nightmare hell, and paying for the privilege.
