Alvarado Cleaning quoted for tenant check in clean using "finger in the air" method. I accepted quote as he was recommended by my letting agent. I provided a list of items which required attention the afternoon before tenants were to check in. Majority were not completed but "Carlos" insisted on full payment for work undertaken (which was really very little). In fact, Carlos pestered me for cash in advance on the day of the clean, before he had even completed the work. Carlos left my property in pretty much the same way he found it, including a broken blind in the front room - which he claimed he didn't do. I am now 2 months on and still have not received an invoice for tax purposes, despite many chasing emails to the letting agent.
I do hope that "Carlos of Alvarado Cleaning" is declaring his earnings to the tax man!!!
