I purchased a Louis Vuitton Cerise Speedy 25 on Ebay.com a few weeks ago. When the bag arrived today, I was immediately alarmed! This $900 plus bag (its worth) was supposed to be in this tiny 12"x14" padded envelope.
When I opened the envelope, I instantly realized this "authentic" bag was a FAKE. Its texture was wrong, its smell, the coloration and its print. Everything was off. Immediately i got online and did research and looked up the auction I purchased it off of, instantly i noticed differences between the bag I was holding and the bag that they had sent me.
1. The serial number listed in the pictures of the bag sent was different from the one that i purchased.
2. The ring hold inside the bag is in the OPPOSITE spot of where it should be
3. The bag is made of vinyl and leather, NEITHER of which is used to make this bag.
4. It has a tiny rip on its side, exposing the leather texture and material
5. The auction said "AUTHENTIC" with authentication card, which I did not receive.
Having recently purchased multiple REAL louis vuitton bags, and being a small time collector, I compared it to other bags I had and noticed multiple differences. Even the handles of the bag were wrong, with the wrong material and coloration.
While the store reciept sent looks authentic (it may be faked) the bag is surely a fake. Fake bags are ILLEGAL! If the reciept is real, I assume they bought a real bag, and sold a fake with the real reciept hoping to pass it off.
I hope they get caught, and are sued. Im filing a report with ebay and paypal as well, and plan on getting paperwork proving it is a fake. Thank you.
