This was my first time ever using EBay to purchase items off their site. A bid closed and I was the 2nd highest bidder for some photographic equipment. I received what I though was the seller saying the person did not want the equipment if I was still interested the equipment. After replying yes to the email, I then received a fake email shown below to purchase the equipment. All the time I thinking this is being done through EBay. Original transaction was handled through EBay (Trans. Nr. 280008825019) and using a link in fake email to web site (SquareTrade.com). They required the funds so SquareTrade could then send items purchased from EBay. In talking with Square Trade in San Francisco, CA, I have been told that the email address is not there's and they have nothing to do with this trade on EBay.
