“Do NOT use A1 National van hire” you have been warned.
I booked a hire vehicle from Nationwidehireuk; they must have subbed it to A1 national van hire who must have subbed it to Europcar.
1 The vehicle was damaged in several places,
2 The people that delivered it were not interested in checking it over,
3 It was delivered 2 days before I wanted it
4 After using the vehicle I was told to fill the tank up, this I did
5 Collection of the vehicle was 1 day after it should have been, told to leave keys under plant pot.
The worst thing was that they stole £25.44 from my credit card. As I have said I left the fuel tank full, but suspecting a slap dash organisation so I took pictures of all the damage and the fuel reading with the mileage on it at the end of the hire period. Two months after the vehicle had gone back I noticed that A1 National van hire had taken this money out of my account; it has taken me 6 weeks umpteen e mails and phone calls even to Trading Standards and the Police to recover my money. So you have been warned to cover your back with this set of thieves.
