Battery-supplier.co.uk claims to be based in the UK, and publishes a UK address and phone number at their website. They then (deliberately?) ship out defective components to unsuspecting buyers.
When you then contact them to seek a rectification, they demand that you first ship out the faulty component to China at a cost of up to £50, or alternatively pay again so they can ship out a replacement. For a battery that is sold for less than £30, the inclination is that the consumer goes away and counts their losses.
This is a calculated scam .. So, avoid this vendour like the plague. I am following up with trading standards and RIPE for this vendour .. They have wasted my time and created serious challenges for me
