A friend of mine has paid a deposit for an event, but following watchdog revelations, he wants to know how to get his money back before the event but is worried that he has entered a contract which binds him to paying - even if he cancels.
Following the watchdog programme last night, friend wants to get out of this agreement with him... AFTER booking him, a booking confirmation was received, which after reading the small print, confirms friend has to pay him a certain percentage if friend decides to cancel...
Any advice appreciated...
