Faulty Item

Bought a PC from Comet in Sept 08 and experienced problems within the first week. Went to store and reported problem and was told we had to contact Acer direct and that Comet could not help. Contacted the Acer helpline and explained my computer was freezing with everything I tried to do, they told me I had to re-set the computer to factory default settings and talked me through how to do it. This solved nothing at all and only wiped everything I had installed off, incl the microsoft office disc and windows one care disc which I had purchased at the same time as the PC. Straight away we ran into the same problems again. I then rang Acer direct and they told me to send it in to them for repair. They fitted a new part and returned it. This made no difference and the problem remained. This unit has now been returned to Acer 4 times and the problem still remains. I have asked Comet for a replacement but they have told me they can only send it away for repair. Since I bought this PC I have been paying for broadband connection but unable to use it and the discs I purchased will soon be useless as you only get 12 times to install them on a machine, which these have almost been used up due to the amount of times Acer have advised putting the machine back to factory settings. I bought this PC in the first instance for own business purposes i.e quoting, invoicing etc but cannot use it. Please can anyone advise what I should do next.
