So selfcalled Mr. Jason Croan tried to sell me a really nice german (version/papers/plates) Toyota Celica for a dumping price. Found the offer at a german website mobile.de (used car website). First he told me to send half of the money to a company Extra Freight LTD. Then they would ship it to me to Germany on his costs.By testing the car for 5days they still would hold the money until i tell them it is ok to release it to him. Then i would have to pay the rest and he would send me the documents needed to register it o my name.
When i told him i would rather see the car by talking a flight over (cheap nowadays) he wrote it would be already at the shipping company, then agreed but wanted an "account to hold it back for you". Didn't want to do that either and ended the conversation. Later i found out he has 52 cars on the webportal. All are cheap as hell and have the same set up (only contact by mail...)
Please everyone you know who wants to buy a used car in germany about this.
