I was attracted to the company selling the concept HovPod at www.hovpod.com as I thought they were reputable and sold me on the idea they were honest. Oh Boy, how wrong I and many others can be.
The product I bought came with a warranty which gave me comfort, once again how wrong can one be. The warranty is there own as no one will provide cover for this very badly made craft. The engine seized up within 30 days to which I asked why. The most unbelievable answer came back, "It should not be taken on salt water". I said I had not been on salt water, the reply was did you go on a lake, I said only once. Ah, that's what's wrong. The manifold is not designed to go on water. I asked about the cracks appearing in the hull, they said I must be bashing into things. I said not once have B hit anything, after all what could I hit on a lake.
The people at HovPod named Mike and Pete just let me a dance and had no intention of honoring any warranty.
I posted my complaint on the internet and within 1 month had over 30 people contact me regarding their similar problems with HovPod... or should I say reaction international. HovPod does not exist, the company is called Reaction international and they only operate through a mobile phone number?
I also found out they were in major trouble for running a lottery business to which the winner would take first prize of a HovPod. Apparently if you raise this question of who won, they will refuse to provide any details.
Mike & Peter are both Con Men, Liars and the product is a disaster. My advice to anyone seeking one of these products is buy a Jet Ski.
The warranty is non existent as are the promises to provide a quality service. Once these two have your money, they are away.
