Unhappy with service

My husband, myself and daughter ate at Granstand Beefeater Restaurant at Newton abbot on 18th July to celebrate my birthday. We booked a table for 6.30pm.
2 starters were served relatively quickly. We then had to wait 50 minutes for the 3 main courses. The waitress apologized for the delay saying that my well done fillet steak was the reason for the delay.
The 2 fillet steaks were good by the way.
My husband waied patiently for his fish and chips.he was served after waiting almost an hour and eventually found his fish had been sat there waiting to be served. The tail was turned up and the fish was very dry. He never complained at the time.
I did point out to our waitress that it took a long time to serve the 3 main courses but was not even acknowledged.
Sorry to complain but not too happy about this experience.
