Completely disorganised and Poor customer service

After having an emergency overbooking at our training salon, we ordered a salon chair from Salon Equipment Centre due to their 5 day delivery promise.

The order was placed on a Monday and the delivery was received on Friday. Was very happy as it was for a high end client the following Monday. Just before the delivery, we received a phone call from Sharon at Salon Equipment Centre to say that there may have been a mix up with the chairs and we may have the wrong chair being delivered to us. She asked us to identify the chair we ordered which was baffling as surely they would keep a track of the products they were selling. So I quickly looked online to find that the chair that had been ordered had been removed from the website, making identification of the chair impossible. So I called Sharon back and asked her to email a photo of the chair we ordered, so we can identify it, by 4pm we did not receive the photo. We called back in a panic, only to be told Sharon had gone home for the weekend. Now in shock horror, we started talking to other people at the company who informed us that the situation will be rectified on Monday. Then we got our delivery! The chair was a cheap, tacky, broken chair with chewing gum stuck to the bottom. It was not even a chair that would be possible to teach one of our clients for 1 day. Using a normal office chair would have done a better job. On Monday we had to rearrange our whole course, to the deep displeasure of our client who had flown in from another country. We managed to get Sharon on the phone and explain the situation and she seemed to have no idea of what our rush was. These people have NO understanding of other peoples business needs and purchasing from them will just affect your business operations. Sharon then told me that the chair would be delivered on Tuesday, I have now told her that if my client cancels, expect court papers on their desk by Friday for loss of earnings and any other costs. To this, she said she would give me a call back today. I will keep this forum informed of this complete and utter disorganised business. Think twice before you ever purchase from them.
