I am adding my story of GenenTechnologies to the consumer complaints. I sent my resume to an add they had on Calgaryjobshop.ca $35/hr Online Data entry job. I recieved a respons known as the "interviewing process" I told them which bank I dealt with... but nothing else in that field..but i did give them my NAME, ADDRESS, TEL NUMBER, NATIONALITY, SEX, and AGE.
answered their probably pointless interviewing questions... then the next day recieved two more emails which I did not respond too... I noticed some spelling errors... and really it all just seemed to good to be true, so I did some research on the company and found two reports on ukconsumercomplaints.com I will paste the two emails I recieved after the ""interviewing process"" below.

Working from home with the company's provided computer is a broad expatiation's of how the online duty is performed working from home. You are required to use the equipments because there is a wide range of software installed on the system to protect data, ease duty, also enhance speed and accuracy of duty online. The Company's equipment that would be shipped to you are liable to be yours as (Ownership) after a period of 2 months working with the Company.
There are several projects that might be given to you to handle in the midst of performing your online duty this attracts extra cash for you also, apart from your normal duties for ($35 per hour / 40 hours Max Weekly) There are utility funds that are provided to staffs working online on a monthly basis, these funds helps staffs with their Minor needs and bills that are involved in the process of performing your duties online (E.g Transportation, minor needs, Health, stationary e.t.c)
The Company is not deducting funds from your payroll for Taxes. All Our Online staffs are expected to complete their taxes forms after payroll by themselves.
The Company is running the Online Recruiting as a temporary measure towards the completion of our Centers around the United Kingdom, Canada, Europe. So most of our online staffs would have the first hand opportunity to apply to become permanent staffs when these centers are opened. The company's website for the Home Business Unit is under a URL change and it involves a very high re-organizational process that involves bringing all our online staffs to log-on on the same Network Online with their staff ID. That way as soon as the website is launched within the next 10 business days then each online staffs can have a log on ID/Password to get access to their duties online while still communicating with their supervisors. That way everyone can be logged into the companies data base. We are recruiting staffs to work online for the company working on our vast loads of logs of unprocessed data through Data Entry and Book Keeping duties online we have about 10 new staffs approved to start up this week which you are one of them. Now we have a network of staffs that are hooked up to supervisors and a total number of 97 online staffs working from different parts of Canada, United States and some other countries you would be introduced to them as soon as you get started by your supervisor.
Basically before you get started, the company would be providing you with funds to purchase some important software required for the duty in question and then also you would be receiving equipments from the Company also (Dell Laptop Pentium D Duo Processor, All in one Printer, Scanner and Fax Machine with a wide range of software already installed on the system)

Your supervisor would be made known to you as soon as your equipment arrive (Full Name; Address; Phone numbers, Online IM Identity and Email Address) The shipping and installation of the required software are done by our shipping agents. The Company cannot handle the direct shipping for the equipments because its shipping department is currently un-available due to re-organizational processes. However we have shipping agents that have been entrusted with these equipment would be shipping the equipment to you from our ware house after installation of the required programs for Data Entry duties on the laptop. The equipment is necessary because unlike your regular computer, the company has taken extra precautions to make the laptop, Hacker prove, Virus Resistant, Anti-spy protected and all other company data and information being passed while working between you and the supervisor is fully secured.
This Test of Duty/Trust is used by the company to ascertain the level of trust worthiness the company can confide in its new staffs. You would be provided with funds in form ofmoney orders to purchase the required software for your data entry program and also use the remaining funds left from the money orders to cover the cost of shipment of your equipment to your location.
