(please note this issue is ongoing and may be fully explained and justified by the company concerned at a later date, so please do wait for this report to be updated before forming any opinion about www.karenscards.co.uk, there are enough genuinely dodgy companies around without condeming one that may actually just be experiancing a very small limited blip! Can't say fairer than that!!)
Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time, so to rid yourself of some of the burden you may decide to use internet companies to buy many of the necessaries, ie: favours, stationary etc.
My advice is choose your sites very carefully because some sites may look very proffessional and trustworthy but could actually be shamelessly ripping off people or carelessly letting down people that are trying to plan the most important day of their lives, leaving them without their products just days before the big day and gladly relieving them of some of their limited cash in the mean time!
I used www.karenscards.co.uk because it looked like a genuine site with a good range of products. I chose to place my order online and then pay by cheque.
Inevitably with all the wedding plans i took a few days to send off the cheque but KAREN very kindly called me (with phone number withheld) to remind me and to tell me that all the neccessary stock had arrived and they were just waiting on my cheque to be able to begin putting my order together.
After a couple of weeks i decided to contact Karen via her website just to ask for a rough idea of when my order would be ready, NO RESPONSE FROM WWW.KARENSCARDS.CO.UK.
So then i tried emailing her from my own e-mail provider in case the problem was with her website, but still NO RESPONSE FROM WWW.KARENSCARDS.CO.UK.
So i tried again and yes you guessed it, NO RESPONSE FROM WWW.KARENSCARDS.CO.UK.
So as there was no phone number on the website i tried to get the number from 118 118 but was told there was no registered phone number.
Next i decided to write a polite letter requesting an update, to the postal address given on the website and of course... NO RESPONSE FROM WWW.KARENSCARDS.CO.UK.!!
So i have sent yet another e-mail, this time making it clear that i am not too much impressed with a company that gladly takes my money and then effectively dissapears off of the face of the earth!
So now i wait, with only days untill the wedding, will my order turn up? or will i be left high and dry on my wedding Day? With a company as unattainable and seemingly as unproffessional as WWW.KARENSCARDS.CO.UK, who knows!!
Of course it is very possible that this has just been a case of poor communication on www.karenscards.co.uk's part and my beautifully, well made, good quality products will arrive in good time and if this is the case i will of couse apologise proffusely to the company and update this report immediatly.
However let my experiance act as a warning:
To all those happy brides and bridegrooms to be out there, be careful some people may have no conscience or no proffessionalism and will rip you off or let you down on any day, even your wedding day!
