Dear Sir / Madam, Customer Services Argos Uk
Id finally like your reply in writing. I have been passed from pilar to post, spoken to customer services, stores etc.
Is not good enough. Each time i have called in i never recieved the call back i have asked for. Why have a customer service team if all blame and enquirys are passed back to a store for them to then pass me back to you? It doesnt make any sense.
To cut a long story short, and to summarise the nature of my problerms:
I went and bought a panasonic DVD recorder from argos for my partners birthday from your argos store
Initially it worked great and as it should, he was able to plus his digital cam corder into it and was able to record dvds of fasmily momments, record his favirate Television series etc.

Have not recieved back, it may have been lost in postage or Lost by panasonic
My Complaint should be passed to a manager for their perousal. I do not aggree with argos policy that this shoud have gone back to the manufacturer in the first place! I qam not happy wityh the service i have recieved from argos aftersales, it seems you are too keen to pass on faults and problems back to the manufacturer when you in fact should have taken this back in and exchanged like i asked for back in january, then May, then june!

Well i cant remember the exact amount as it was on offer at argos at the time, i paid by gift vouchers and cash and it was bought in decemeber from the Belgrave gate argos extra store in the center of the city so maybey you could look it up? the catalogue number is 085/1857 and i would accept a gift voucher to cover the costs of postage for sending the dvd player to panasonic, when you see the item and features in the catalogue you would probably show empathy for the fact that my husband had this as a gift. I would not expect a full refund as we did have some usage out of it, but from what i understand argos should and could have replaced this for me.

As explained in my previous correspondence with your collegue the reciept was sent to panasonic as proof of purchase and ownership, then was not shipped back along with the dvd recorder on the first repair.

Well i cant remember the exact amount as it was on offer at argos at the time, i paid by gift vouchers and cash and it was bought in decemeber from the Belgrave gate argos extra store in the center of the city so maybey you could look it up? the catalogue number is 085/1857 and i would accept a gift voucher to cover the costs of postage for sending the dvd player to panasonic, when you see the item and features in the catalogue you would probably show empathy for the fact that my husband had this as a gift. I would not expect a full refund as we did have some usage out of it, but from what i understand argos should and could have replaced this for me.
