Non Reply to complaints

1) We submitted a complaint to the ASDA website and had no response

2) On telephoning to find out why there was no response we were informed that..:

a) ASDA did not respond to e-mail complaints the complaint had to be in writing to their head office

b) The person we spoke to said that they had not had any record of our complaint even though it was done on line to their

complaints section in their web site

c) We were told that unless it was in writing and sent registered mail they would not respond

The essence of the complaint was that they had confiscated goods which had been purchased and paid for due to our requesting a refund or credit, as per their web site policy, to which they said that it was up to the manager of the particular store that would make the decision to credit or refund

At this point in time we are minus our goods which had been paid for and confiscated due to the thuggery of the ASDA personnel
