My wife had applied for a passport renewal 4 months back through post (big mistake) and we still have not received it back. I have to appreciate their email in response to our email query that the police clearance is awaited and hence the chennai high commission has not confirmed it. We waited for another 1 month and then wrote a complaint to the High Commissioner and to the HCI london. Hurrah a response raying they will look into it. We received a form to be filled and we sent it back immediately (a month ago) but no more reply. All our plans to go to INDIA is on hold and being fed up we have decided to go in person to London next week.
Can anybody guide me on how to get information from these people. Can I go through RTI? IS there a procedure for this in the HIGH COMMISSION?
Thanks for your help and never apply through post in our high commission.
