First off let me say, the C J Garlands "mission statement" of "GARLANDS-TOGETHER WERE ONE"-is absolute rubbish, could not be further from the truth!!
The CEO, Chey Garland, is a money grabbing con artist-she receives 16, 000 per year, per head for every person she hires, but only pays 10, 000per year, but you're lucky if you even get that!! I have worked at the company for more than 10 months and have never been paid properly ONCE! 4 months ago I was even short paid more than half my monthly wage and only recieved it 2 days ago, with extra tax reductions!
The company is a joke. The management couldn't manage theirselves out of a paper bag-in a word, theyre USELESS!! Annual leave is given but if you dare to ask for your entitlement, you are chastised and even punished-and you dont get your days off.
There is an extreme lack of communication betmween management and staff, taking into consideration this is supposed to be a communication's company!!
The "training" (and I use that term extremely lightley) consists of 1 week reading through a leverarch file, which vocation in life would be better utilised as a doorstop, and listening to an OAP narrate in a monotone voice.
Saying that, the company does have a few good points-they have an excellent cafeteria serving gourmet food 24/7-to elaborate, Garlands version of "gourmet" is a sandwich machine and a kettle.
Also field trips over to the adjacent building are a regular occourance as the building often gets fumagated due to the infestation of fleas that are brought in by the high quality of clientelle that they employ.
To conclude, anyone who is thinking of "going this way for a better future" (another of the companys taglines), i advise you to think again, unless you enjoy working 12 hours a day voluntarily with no eating facilities and sharing a desk with a menagerie of animals including fleas and nits, not to mention the ass's that run the place.
