I had been looking for a DVD copying and Divx copying software. I was going to by DVDXCopy and found it expensive. Once I found DVD Wizard Pro, I thought that I had hit the jackpot with the low 39.95 price. What I bought was an "instruction book" and "browser".
After installation and you power up the software for the first time, you will see a bunch of links for many thing you might want to perform. ie. Copy a DVD-9 (Commercial DVD) to DVD-5 and the like.
Once you click on the link it brings up an instructional page on how to do it. Ok that is not terrible. Near the the top, you will find links to the software that you will need to perform the actions. ie DVD De-crypter and IFOEdit and some others. You download the software and run it. I found most all did what the "instruction page" said. The one thing I did find was that the very last instruction states that you will need Nero for writing a modified movie to your DVD-5. But if you download Nero, you will need to fork up another $70 US if you want to write to a DVD. This is absurd. I bought this software because it said that it was able to perform an action and it doesn't.
Writing to the support email address gets an automated response that says that my complaint will be handled as soon as possible. Four weeks later I still get no response. (If the phone doesn't ring - I know it is them.) So I sit frustrated with software I cannot use after having paid my $40 US.
I will be talking to a lawyer next month to see what and if I can find and then sue this company and individual that has taken my money and time.
