We had strachans sales/ design person around to maybe have some furniture fitted - the sales person designed somethings but we wasn't 100% sure and felt it very expensive as we was selling the house and it was partially to help sell our property. The sales man was calling us a lot and was here for ages - he said we could agree to the furniture and change our minds if need be.
Stupidly when we called to say we would only have one piece of the furniture they said we would still have to pay for what we agreed to pay, we explained the sales man said we didn't have to have all of it and could change our minds but the general gist of it was "unlucky" as they said they hadn't started to make anything but we had signed their forms.
Strachans seem to have a good reputation so i didn't expect the sales man to lie for a sale and he really made it clear that there was no pressure to go ahead with the sale so unless other sales people who work for them are more honest i would like to warn other would be customers not to sign anything unless 100% sure and not to believe what they tell you.
