Returned a Microsoft mouse of about 27 GBP on the same day I bought it.
While the refund was being done, the card machine apparently malfunctioned and they could not print my copy of the transaction, so the manager or a manager gave me a copy of the their receipt; as it happens it has my full card number and expiry date on it, which I certainly don't appreciate, especially at this day and age.
I was told the transaction had gone thought.
Some time later I checked my account, but there was nothing, so I called them and spoke to the same manager and he said I would have to go in during the week, between the day while the banks are open for them to be able to do this.
That means I will have to take time off work, loose money to get back 27 GBP.
I then called them again sometime later on and spoke to someone else who said I can just send that copy in and he will get it sorted, which I then did. [Email Removed]
Since then I have never had any correspondence whatsoever.
Would like to know if that money has now just become staple's because I don't want to loose more money taking time off work to get back my 27 GBP?
Thank you
