I purchased a Brand new Samsung Tab 2 10.1 Tablet from Argos UK on June 20th as a gift for my husband whilst on holiday there. On return to Cape Town (7 July) we opened the box and started the process of setting it up - lines appeared on the tablet and it froze! It doesnt work! Now as a world wide brand one would expect to be able to take it into a local branch of Samsung to have it fixed or replaced - apparently not - Samsung Cape Town want to charge R1100 to fix it stating it needs a new Battery Pack on a Brand new item!!! I would expect that ONE it would work as its brand new and TWO that if it doesnt Samsung would stick by its brand and fix or replace it...
