On the 13/11 i took back my laptop to comet store kilmarnock the laptop internal speaker had stopped working the laptop worked with headphone and through hmdi cable to tv so speaker was faulty the lap top at the was less than 5 months old
the sales supervisor spoke to me as it was mangers day off or so i was told to quote (its the manufacturers problem our engineers dont touch that companies laptops you have to send it back to them)
several calls to there customer helpline i was asked to take it back in for there engineer to look at laptop to see if repair was possable and needed i said thank you and went in to the store only to be told this could take from 5 to 8 weeks to have laptop looked at i refused as this would be significant inconvenience to myself and asked for like for like replacement as is my right under the sales of goods act
was told by the manger if i was not happy i should just leave the store and take the company through small claims court which i am doing gladly, customer service comet dont know the meaning of the word i will never shop with them again as its more hassle than its worth in there savings
