Britanniainks
Non delevery of goods

Ordered a set of cartridges for HP printer. Money taken immediately. After a considerable delay, company claimed that they were not available and did not refund the money despite repeated requests. After some investigation, I discovered that the company go to extraordinary lengths to hide their true address. Phone numbers on the website put you on hold and then direct you to some sort of distorted noise loop. Phone numbers on Scoot turn out to be a newsagent shop, the address of a unit on an industrial estate in Lopen listed on their webstite appears to be occupied by an accountancy firm and they had registered the domain name with Nominet as an individual non-trading, allowing them to use Nominet's privacy cloak. An email to Nominet alerting them to this - trading whilst not having a legitimate contact address is illegal - Nominet released the details to public after an investigation. The domain is registered to Lee Hill and the business address is given as

6 Becksfield, Stoke sub hamdon, TA14 6PB, United Kingdom

The company appears to be run as a partnership between Lee Hill, listed above and Martin Davies. It appears Mr Davies has a long track record of running ink companies which keep the money, but don't deliver, and then disappear. 007inks was one of them.
