Volvo V70 D5 developed fuel injector fault 12/5/08. Diagnosed with injector leak by Kastners Volvo Exeter 12/05/09. Advised repair injector clean and replace. Quote: £200. Booked into Stratstone Volvo Valley Road Plympton 15/5/08. Advised replacement rather than repair, quote: £290. Work authorised. Contacted by Stratstone to tell me car was ready but needed to return vehicle for pipe to be fitted as no pipe in stock. Returned 21/5/08 with correct pipe supplied. Contacted end of day told car fixed. On collection, injector not replaced, told didn't need replacing. On inspection wires hanging of engine, bolts securing injector in place, left undone! Instant denial from dealer and promises to fix? 23/5/08 called to be told cylinder head damaged, nothing to do with the dealer? amount needed to fix £4117.02. complaints to head office led to demands from them and threats which lasted 2 weeks, before eventually them agreeing to repair the car, told cylinder head had been taken off and injector replaced and new bolt holes drilled etc. I demanded a documented report on what they had done to my car, they took £289.50 of my credit card and then told me they had not removed the cylinder head and the head turned out to be ok??? Attempted to obtain money by deception??
