My family I recently decided to relocate from the UK back to Cape Town.
I got a few referrals for our shipping needs from friends who had relocated back home in the past and I did my own research. We were advised by a few people to use Anglo Pacific (and now I wish we had).
When I first made contact with Excess Shipping, Nick Gjura was allocated to our quote, he provided very basic answers to the questions I had and because it was my first time shipping goods, I did not have a clear understanding of how it all worked, pricing and customs etc.
As a first time client, you would expect that you have an agent that will give you the time of day, after all these are my personal and sentimental possessions we are dealing with.
To cut a long story short, my goods were collected on the 2nd of September (7 weeks ago), I had to chase Nick every week for a progress report and only discovered last week that our goods have been allocated a container. I complained to Nick in an email that I was not happy with the customer service and he has still not responded nor apologised. I will NEVER use them AGAIN! My goods are only due to arrive end of November!!! SHOCKING!
