We tried to book a holiday, advertised on the internet with icelolly.com, to Sharm El Sheikh with an agent called Jeananne, she told us there were no holidays left so she said why not try somewhere else so we decided on Goa. We booked the holiday then and there for £792 on Tuesday night flying out the following Friday morning, what we weren't told is that The Indian High Commission don't issue visas on the same day anymore and there is a 3-4 day turnaround, so we cant get visas to fly, When I got in touch with ice lolly they said not their fault and we have lost the whole of the money, they said they tried to change flights but to no avail. My argument is as tour operators they should have informed us of the visa delay, before payment. They are not helpful they sounded sympathetic but that was it. Ice Lolly are r travel so beware and make sure you get proper info before handing card details over.
