Perks Ltd catering service left a bitter taste after our wedding.
I'm the groom and my father kindly offered to pay the drinks bill for our wedding while my grooms parents paid for the food.
This catering service charged for hidden cost such as service charge never discussed until it was time to pay the bill. They tried to play both lots of parents off of each other to get more money but it didnt work.
My Brides sister was ill on the day and the catering manager was very rude to her saying it wasnt the food (we never said it was!).
It was also noted by a few guests that the catering staff appeared to be having a competition with the champaign to see who could go through the most, this put our bill over the limit it should have been. The catering manager claimed to have agreed this with my dad... they did not.
We only went with these caterers because we had to use them if we wanted this venue (Clock Barn) it's a shame because the venue and everything else was fantastic.
