We were on a stag party and arrived at this hotel to find that we were going to be required to have 8 sharing a room with only one bathroom. We were also required to pay a further £100 deposit for any damage we may cause, something that was not pointed out prior to arrival. On departure some of our friends were accused of putting a cigarette out on the floor, problem being nobody in that room actually smoked. They charged £25 of the deposit for this. I and others were so appalled at the conditions that we incurred an extra cost and stayed across the road at another hotel.
On the front of the hotel it described itself as the friendliest hotel in Bournemouth, this is clearly a trade description act breach as they were rude unhelpful and basically downright con artists!
