Waiting for refund... already 5 months

At first, I'd like to let you know that I'm french and that my english writing is not the best you can dream of. My story is very recent and not yet resolved, so I'll try to be clear and precise.

The 1st of May I booked a room in a hotel in New York via the Woogo.com web site. I paid this stay with my Visa card. The amount was 499 US$. It was for 4 nights, 4 people in Hotel Devon in N.Y, in august. For some personnal reasons I had to cancel this reservation, what i did by e-mail the 4th of July. Woogo.com acknowledged and as it was written in the general and special terms of the contract, they promised to pay me back the 499 US$ except 50US$ charges within the next month.

I quietly waited for this refund but nothing happened. I wrote many e-mails to the customer care service. I received many automatic answers and then a real answer saying that their financial office had had some informatic problems. All should have been allright, but I'm still waiting... I sent a postal mail to Woogo's customer service in London in september... I'm still waiting an answer.

I got in contact with a french "consumer complaintsing" site called and a man has been trying to help me to resolve this case. He had contact with a woman in charge of the customer care office who assured him that she was dealing with my refund. It was the 9th of November.!!!
And... I'm still waiting. I am upset and angry now.
