The plumber who arrived spoke virtually no English and was so unaccustomed to British homes that he had no idea how to work the entry phone, even after he was shown. He may be an excellent tradesman in Poland but clearly had no knowledge of British pressurised gas boilers, did not know what the pressure valve was, and said that the fact that it read 0 was irrelevant. Then said it need something cleaning in the heat exchanger (couldn't say what it was but had to get chemicals) came next day and put chemicals in, smeared the heat exchanger with leak-proof gunk and still couldn't get it to work. Said it was the fan. Came next day with new fan (Third visit!) but it didn't fit. At this point we got another firm who instantly diagnosed blocked inlet valve causing pressure fault, replaced one-way valve and braided hose and the boiler worked instantly. Plumber from Polbuild is dangerous and should not be allowed to work in the UK.
