Lucky Strike Lottery
Rip-off!

As I saw this has happened to someone else in one of your other reports; I wish to inform you that the "Lucky Strike Lottery UK" also notified me via e-mail that I was one of two Grand Prize Winners, and that my winnings totaled 6, 500, 000.00 British Pounds! They told me to contact a Mr. Andrew Young to receive further instructions regarding transfer of these funds into an account of my choice.

I knew it sounded like a scam and I didn't believe it (although anyone I know would sure like to). However, I am so angered by con artists who try to pull this stuff over on people that I contacted "Mr. Young" via e-mail and fax (I could not get an answer at the phone number that I was given) and requested his further instructions regarding transfer of my so called "winnings." I just had to check out their scam and see just how far they would go.

I then received another e-mail telling me that in order to receive my "Grand Prize Winnings" that I would have to fill out their "Lottery Winnings Claims Form" and send it back to them via fax of e-mail. They ALSO said that "to finalize the transfer of your prize, you are to pay the required fee of 3, 560.00 Great Britain pounds or its equivalent in US dollars. This is to offset costs of processing your winnings..." Of course, this amount could NOT be deducted from my "winnings" because my winnings had "... been insured to the real value and as such cannot be deducted from..."

They told me that I was..."required to respond and act promptly to all instructions provided... to ensure a hitch free process with collecting your prize. We are obligated by lucky strike lottery UK to transfer your prize within 48 hours of your meeting all our requirements."

Mr. Young also said to contact him immediately if I encountered any problems submitting my claims form. He continued to tell me that they..."shall send a mail giving you specific instructions on how to remit the fees shortly after you submit the verification form. Please send your filled claims form immediately so we can proceed with the processing and transfer of your prize..."

I have NOT sent back the completed "Claims Form" but would LOVE to catch these con artists and put a stop to their preying on people who might be a bit more gulable. Any help you can provide or ANY assistance I can provide to catch these criminals will be greatly appreciated.
