Central heating care 50
Very poor service

We are covered by npower for boiler breakdown, we called in a breakdown 0n 30th Dec since then we have had no hot running water or heating, although the engineer has been out to it now on 2 ocassions he has failed to fully diagnose the problem, and at one time tried to put the blame on me for not letting him know exactly where the dripping water was going (apparently onto some kind of electric circuit board) that he now had to order, after the engineer left i looked at the mess he had left behind, a ver untidy worker leaving debris all over the sink and work tops. Npower phoned me 20/01 to arrange an appointment to come and complete the work on the 23? 01/12, i said that there would be nobody in until after 14.30, which they sympathised because of the length of time and said that would be okay, at 13.30 on that day i got a call off the engineer saying he was on route and would be about half hour, i then explained the situation of the after 14.30 arrangement where he went on to say okay no problem, my wife got home from work at 14.20 to find a calling card left by the engineer who had obviously been and gone. i had his mobile number listed on my recent calls so i called him back to find out what was going on, he just replied, it won't be done today now and you will have to phone the office to make another appointment. Since then i have lost count of the amount of times that either me or my wife have phoned npower to try and find out what is going on, at one point they gave us another appointment on the 30th, which would then be another week. Almost every time we call the office we are put on hold for a little while, then told that we will get a call back in ten minutes (which has only happened twice) and then told that a manager will call us back the following day, and thats where we are at the moment with npower Hometeam 50. They are happy enough to take our money every month but it seems when it comes to it they can't deliver their service. Right from the very start when they couldn't send us an engineer on the 30th Dec and they asked us to contact a local engineer and would pay up to £100 for locating and stoping the leak, through to all the waste of time and being fobbed off phone calls, and to the engineers incompetence npower has been a complete waste of time, and are now making us feel a little ill because of it all. Npower are also our gas and electric suppliers as well, Npower has its own complaint department which up to now i have never been able to get through too, its probably the busiest department within the business. it goes without saying that it won't be for very much longer.
