I got an email telling me that I had won 5.5million Euros. I thought there would be no harm in checking it out so I called and spoke to a certain Dr John Baptista.
He sent a form which I was supposed to fill out for payment to be processed, the form required my banking details so I did not provide them and instead asked them to make me a cheque and send it through courier services. They said I had to pay 580 euros for them to send it. The 500 euros was for insurance of the cheque and 80 euros for courier. if I wanted a bank transfer I had to pay 2500 euros. I called the numbers provided at night but they still answered.
I was also given a number for a certain Mr Richard Antonio who apparently worked for Banco Santander in Spain which is where the cheque was apparently to be made out. Mr Richard Anthonio's number was based in spain. it was 34 619 693 930 while his fax number was 34 911 010 687. when I called him at night as well he claimed that on fridays the bank works through the night until eight so thats when i smelled a rat. The email I got was as follows:
