Pro-Shift Ltd
After delivering a wrong part, I was refused a refund

I was a customer that bought a unit for my 2011 Kawazaki ZX10R in November. They couriered a 2010 model and expected us to work with it and put it in. I am presuming they are smart enough to know the Kawazaki 2010 and 2011 is totally different and yet they processed the order and charged me 1, 900 sterling lbs.

It proved to be too difficult for us here in Malaysia to modify so I sent it back December and only gotten a replacement in June 6 months wait. And guess what?? They couriered it back and the same problem persist. I finally asked for refund less what ever percentage they would like to deduct as the run around has gotten tiring: 9 months!!

They actually wrote back and said if anything else, I owe them for their run around to correct it. Where is the right of the customer and my satisfaction in spending 1, 900 quids or apparently they think that I should develop the system for them to fit a 2011 model!?

In any case, I had enough but just wanted to let you all know that Pro-Shift can’t be trusted and the most unscrupulous company I have come across! I lost 1, 900 quids but beware, unless you have the fitting done at their shop? Don’t fall into their trap!!!

Their product belongs in the dump and the people that run it are totally unprofessional!!

If Mr. Wong is going to post a complaint the facts should be documented:-
He ordered and received a 2010 ZX10R Gearshift System and it wasn't until his mechanic started the installation and encountered difficulties that it came to light he actually required a 2011 version instead. The System was returned to Pro-Shift who set about the task of acquiring a 2011 bike to develop a brand new bespoke Gearshifter especially for Mr. Wong. As the 2011 bikes were being bought up by racing teams as quickly as they were being manufactured it wasn't an easy task to get hold of one to use as a jig. After several months of searching, one was located and the owner was willing to allow Pro-Shift access to it for a day.To this end, one of the Pro-Shift technicians completed a 200 mile round trip in order to develop the required bespoke bracketry and fitments especially for Mr. Wong's bike. This was an extremely costly exercise for Pro-Shift, far outweighing the heavily discounted price charged to Mr. Wong for the original System, but all done free of charge in the spirit of customer service and wanting Mr. Wong to receive a perfectly running product. The completely re-designed bespoke System was duly couriered back to Mr. Wong for his mechanic to install. Unfortunately, the mechanic refused to follow the technical advice and support offered by Pro-Shift which involved a minor adjustment to the coolant pipe and as a result the System has not been fitted correctly and of course doesn't work. Now Mr. Wong is demanding a refund on a bespoke System developed especially for him even though there is nothing wrong with it. Pro-Shift have worked tirelessly on this project to ensure Mr. Wong is a happy customer and are extremely out of pocket as a result. The System will run perfectly if the technical advice is followed, unfortunately it is out of Pro-Shift's control if the customer decides not to take that advice and instead chooses to post online complaints instead.
