Beware this latest email scam in which you are contacted by a dying widow, Mrs. Rosemary King, to help her diispose of a 15million doller inhertience to charity with the help of her attorny MR. Davud Levene. I played it out to see where the scam was and it comes after the attorney directs you to contact a bank offical in Africa where the funds are allegedly stored. the officers name is KOFI BANSON. He will tell you that he can either transfer the money elecronically to your account, or send a courier to your door. Now that is way to much money to have oersonally delivered to your door, too many thing can go wrong right? So I opted for the elrctronic transfer to a dead account. He then informed me that he could not staryt the trandsfer unlesss I "Travelled down to Ghana, and sighned for the release of the funds to my account, and paid $1750.00 for the transfer at that time or If I ws unable to travel at the present time I could contact him and arrange to wire him only $1500.00 for the electronic transfer. So I thought this was a little suspicous. I did a "whois" on Mrs. RoseMary Kings ISP and found that it was the same ISP that the alleged KOFI was using several continents away in Africa. A "whois" on David Levine's ISP was unsuccessful but it was in the MRS KING./KOFI range. So I just though I'd post this to expose these would be crooks and get their names and MO's out before they actually scam anyone.
