Taken the children (9 nomths & 4 yrs) out for day and ended up at Basingstoke shopping centre looking for somewhere to grab som sandwhiches for lunch. Ended up in M&S inside 'cafe' which was really jjust a small area of tables and a coffee bar. Couldn't believe my eyes when they wanted to charge £3.50 for a single egg sandwhich that retails for less than £1.50 in their own foodhall downstairs. Lunch consisting of 3 sandwhiches and 2 cups of coffee cost £18. I wonder how much preying on elderly and young families is going on as pricing is certainly not in line with the product beign offered. M&S used to be a trustworthy brand but appears to be trying to rip-off customers and every opportunity now.
