Cancelled Booked delivery

I live in Australia and I have a niece who has been ill along with her husband and instead of sending them a hamper for Christmas I thought I would order some essential foods and have them delivered. WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS. On the day of the scehduled delivery my niece received a call saying that because of the weather conditions they would not deliver but she had to call in the morning to find out when they would deliver. She called the next day only to be told that they had cancelled the delivery, but would not give any other details because I had placed the order! I then had to call from Australia to a number not the one on their web page I may add, and spoke with a lady called Nosh, she had problems with the batteries in her head set so she cut me off twice, so that was three long distance calls for no help. I have sent two emails to the customer contact email and received no replies, they should be ashamed to say they are affiliated with Walmart because you would not get this customer service from Walmart. I now have a sick niece and her husband and they have very little food in the house and I will not get my card credited for 10-14 days it is appalling. I for one will not advise anyone to shop with ASDA.
