The place was filthy the service was less than poor and when you order your meals you expect to eat all at the same time not with a ten minuet gap between the first meal and then the second two meals. when I cut into my chicken it was stone cold in the middle when I approached the landlords wife she walked away mid conversation removed my meal then brought it back placed it in front of me and never said a word no apology or anything.whilst we were eating our meal the people sitting behind us were also complaining about their meals. we spoke to the waitress about our complaints to be told that we were not the first to complain and she then went to get a more senior member of staff who apologised to us and said I will get the manager and see if he will speak to you but I don't think he will other than that there is nothing I can do. we left the pub in discussed and then returned the following afternoon to speak to the manager only to be faced with his wife shouting at us and not allowing us to speak to her or the manager I have never ever been treated so poorly or rudely and I am disgusted that this person feels it is reasonable behaviour we have used this pub for many years on and off but I can safely say that as a family we will never use this pub again for any reason.
