I booked a car on-line through [URL Removed] from Cape Town International airport. As one can see from the endless string of complaints about this company, they are dishonest in the way they advertise and their charges are exorbitant. They advertise cars for R144 per day - the actual charge was R678 for one day! Despite sending a comprehensive email of what one needs to provide to collect the car, no mention was made of the R5000 deposit required to rent the cars - more than double the deposit charged by Hertz. The car hire rate from Hertz was also almost 50% less -for a car 2 levels up and that for a walk in with no pre booking. [URL Removed] advertise working with reputable brands but in fact the deal was done through Woodford, a little known brand in South Africa. Call centre completely disinterested in addressing my complaint - no response to 3 emails either. Stay away from this company - it's a rip off and they get away with it by referring to endless T&C that are not transparent and hard to track. I am not alone - every single entry on Hello Peter is a complaint! Don't believe their price check policy either - it's also a lie.
