Hi, my name is Naicy****and i am a victim of the website (craigslist) or better yet, i got scammed. I thought this website was a 100% reputable and to my bad fortune it was not. I went on this site with the intention to buy a car, searching through a list of cars i came across a really nice car for and unbelievable price. The guy selling the car claimed to be a bailiff from Williamsburg, VA which of course he wasn't. Everything seemed so legitimate that it never crossed my mind that it was a scheme. As it turned out i sent him the money ($2, 900) to London, England and i never received the car. I reported this to craigslist and the guy is still selling the car on their page. I filed a police report but it seems that they cannot help me any further. This has never happened to me before and i dont know what else to do. Can someone please HELP me in this situation?
