In I renewed my account and took a Blackberry, that is when the issues arose more than ever. In the first month they cut my line probably 5 times because I still 'owed' them extra charges. I lost my phone last year and decided to opt out of VM SA as there are only 2 stores left in the Western Cape region, both of which are a distance for me to travel and the SMSes of my line being blocked continued. I then decided to pay up my account... fully! Lo and behold I received another statement which said I still owe R321!

This unnecessary extra charge once my account has been paid is becoming a regular reality for all VM clients. I know of 20 people who have been trying to close their account in the last year because it is the worst network ever!

I honestly think a further investigation is required into the financial status of VM SA as something really is untoward. The management team in South Africa has a lot to answer to so as to avoid a possible PR disaster.
