On May 17th I made an online order
through www.emotouk.com for some parts and
accessories for my Ducati 1098s Tricolore.
The total amount was 862.55GBP including
postage and shipping.
I asked to have my order at least in two weeks otherwise to cancel it. My order went through and they charged me my Mastercard for that amount on the same day. Weeks had been passing and I was asking for my order every
week without any serious answer. On the third week of JUNE, I received a small parcel that a few parts were included, however the expensive parts were not inside. The amount pending was 519.98 GBP. I have all the
messages that I was sending to that company and their silly answers, (so silly that you just cant stop laughing with them) and until the end of September,
after repeatedly asking for my money back (519.98GBP), I had no serious answer from them.
I have been informed that many other people have
been cheated by that company, and it is time to do something against them. It may be a 20% of their total customers, less or more, but this is not the point. Even if one customer gets ripped, then a company becomes trickery and with deceitful promises it gets worst, talking for a fraud company.
Their strategy is simple and quite popular.
They have a ghost company (they state an address that is not trackable / unknown) and they send some goods to some people, but if they don't have something (that is expensive usually), they don't say "we don't have this item" or "it will be late delivery" they just grab the money from your credit card and let the customer wait... for months, years, until it pass over and the customer just cant do nothing about it. For me, losing 519.98 GBP is not the end of the world, it's just that these people get feed from us and we do nothing.
Time to get them uncovered. eMoto is the name of one of those scam "companies" and I hope many people could read this post but better add more reports against them.
