In January I Subscribed to a free trial from E Millionaire. They sent my an e-mail which I had to respond to to activate my account however, after reading through the information decided not to proceed. I then received a CD through the post which I was charged for the post and packing and have a further 2 withdrawals from my bank account totallying £70? for what? I cannot contact the company as their e-mail address is no longer valied and the phone number is unobtainable also. This offer was via Face Book which I will be logging a complaint with them also as people need to be aware of these scams which seem to be rife especially on Face Book. I have today had to order a new bank card to prevent any further transactions being taken and my bank have advised I cannot treat this as fraud as I gave the company my bank details on the inital sign up. Please advise me if their is anyway I can try and get my funds returned.
