On Thursday 12th May, a representative called Ben from Thomson local visited my house to sell me some internet and other advertising at a cost of £240. I am a single mum, so this is a large payment to me but I thought it would be worth it as I am working extremely hard to set up my own business. I signed the contract and everything was going OK.
The sales man after having a cigarette in my garden, then using my toilet, told me that I would be better off SELLING MARUJANA!!! I could not believe that he had said this. I have never even smoked the stuff and I am truly disgusted that he said this, and in front of my daughter. I have phoned Thomson local 3 times now to complain and ask for a response or an apology. They have cancelled my contract after I sent a letter (which they say did not receive) so sent again, but I have still not heard anything back. I am totally appalled that a professional company could say something like this and not even respond. Something really needs to be done, its disgusting.
