Im glad a read came across your website... i thought i was the only one targeted by santander. I am also stuck with an account that has been stopped... however they have banned me from the account altogther which means they are reluctant to discuss it with me and..i have not been permitted to speak to the fraud dept... they have refused phone calls... stating..they are not permitted to discuss the account with the account holder.

I am at my wits end. I am worried i will now loose my home..as i am not permitted to have my wages paid in... or withdraw cash... and they have stated dd and so may be paid. I dont understand whats going on. They had told me it seems security had been by- passed by staff, a manager who i have never spoken to i have never spoken to a manager.. (possibly with a grudge because id made a complaint that week)... they had managed to withold their i.d and banned me from complete access to my account including discussing it with other dept..to were they will hardly allow me to even discuss it properly. I dont have a leg to stand on legally... it seems as ive been told by santander can act as they wish on my account without my permission and they dont have to inform me of any staff etc who wish to tweek it as they so wish bypassing security. I am very shocked they find this acceptable..as anyone in santanderc ould access your account and move cash around... as they wanted... and i asked why am i not protected from possible fraudulant or malicious activity from staff... to which they repsonded... in the contary to their last statement regarding it... saying i was fully protected and in reality they should not be able to do this to my account, although they admitted this isnt procedure and highly irregular within santander.

On bitterwallet many customers after 12 months are still waiting for their accounts to be unblocked... and some have nearly lost their homes. It has also reported branches dont always agree with a passable security and ID check to unblock accounts.

I am worried sick, i am disabled... and have mental health issues and am not able to live without money... which im no longer permitted access to. I dont know if you can help or you can protect other vunerable people... but they should not be allowed to seize ppls bank accounts and tell them they dont or cant find a reason... and prevent them from getting at their money for as long as they decide they want to penalize us.
