Outsurance doesn't give a
About 3 weeks ago, my wife's car was rear ended, was taken by Outsurance to a panel beater. Since the car went in for repairs, no one has tried to contact us to let us know the state of the repair, Instead we are left to call back repeatedly just to never get a response, Last we were told that the vehicle would be done this week. Now suddenly, a part has to come from Japan. I called the dealership and they have stock in Pretoria (at nearly half the price). I have reported this to Outsurance and no one is getting back to me, after I spent an hour on the phone with the claims consultant explaining that when a car is rear ended, one of the first major things to get damaged is the boot, tailgate! It's only logical! and he promised to find a solution. Either I would have to rent a car, the panel beater would provide us with one or (I suggested) give us the car back until they get the part. We are being left to take care of the situation. Last month I asked Discovery for a quote. They came back with a better rate that would have included car rental but my blind loyalty had me stick with Outsurance, And tehy claim to have the best service. As soon as this is done, I'm moving to Discovery.
